7 Months
Brooklyn is 7 months old today and I think I would have to say that from 6 months to now has been the funnest time yet. I have loved seeing her little personality show more and seeing her progress in her rolling around like a steam roller to pushing herself onto her knees and even onto her toes wanting to crawl. We have mastered the solid food! I am making all of her baby food and she now loves everything I make (with maybe the exception of magoes, she thinks they are sour but she still eats them). Her favorite food is Avacados with a little banana in it now, but she is quite fond of sweet potatoes and rice cereal with some banana in it. We are going to try a bunch of new foods in the next week so we will see how she likes them. She goes down for bed so well, she loves her bath time which we do every night before bed and then she is in bed by 8:00-8:30 every night. I have some cute video of her trying to crawl and move around which I will post tomorrow (hopefully).

TuTu
A couple of my friends posted pictures of their girls in tutus and it reminded me that I was given one as a gift and hadn't gotten it out yet. Today was such a nice day (78 degrees) that I decided to pull it out and go take some pictures of Brooklyn out in the playhouse. Here are just a few of my favorite ones.

Diaper Cake
My mom and some neighbors threw a baby shower for another one of my neighbors. As her gift, we made her a diaper cake that was made of diapers, receiving blankets, wash cloths, rattles, pacifiers, spoons, and a giraffe stuffed animal. This is our first attempt at doing a diaper cake. It turned out pretty cute, but was quite a bit of work.
We made the wash cloths look like roses.

First time Sledding
We had a little family get away this weekend up to the cabin. It was nice just to have our little family spend some quality time together. We hung out and made food, we went to Park City and did a little shopping at the outlet mall, and we took Brooklyn out in the snow and let her experience sledding for the first time!

It's getting harder
So now that Brooklyn is getting older, I am finding it much harder to post on my blog. She is such a busy body, rolling around like crazy and starting to push herself up to crawl. It used to be easy to lay her by me while I would post on here and now she gets mad if I just lay her down, she likes to be entertained which means I don't get alot done. I have a few things I would like to post so hopefully today I can find the time to get them up, as of right now, she is down on a nap which means I can finally go take a shower!

Brooklyn and I went to Colorado without Dad
James had to go to Las Vegas for work on March 1- March 5. While he was there, Brooklyn and I flew to Colorado to go be with Grandma and Grandpa Gabler. Because we went during the week, we were only able to spend a little bit of time with Aunt Katie, Uncle Josh, Uncle Aaron, and Aunt Julie & the twins Logan and Lily. It was a lot of fun to see everyone and to see how the twins are growing! Lily is so tiny still but is so alert and attentive to everything. Logan is almost as big as Brooklyn and is the most chill baby (he looks so much like his dad). Thanks Granma and Grandpa for flying us out there to spend time with everyone.
While there, we went Easter Dress shopping with Grandma and Grandpa. This is a little outfit she tried on. We loved it a ton but it wasn't a dress so we didn't get it, but we did take a picture of it. The dress we ended up getting is absolutely darling, we will post pictures when she gets it for Easter! Thanks again Grandma and Grandpa!

The three babies! We had to lay Lily and Logan on Brooklyn's arms so that she wouldn't grab at them and claw them. She was getting kind of mad but we had to do it for the safety of the twins!

She REALLY enjoyed being in it!
